I hope so too! This is my second round of applying to residency programs. Did not get selected for a Summer program. I don’t get why we’re all struggling SO bad to land a job. I can’t even get a med surg position in Houston, but if I were staying in San Antonio I would have a PICU job like THAT! *snaps fingers* ??

Same. I interviewed with MH Woodlands on Monday and haven't heard anything back. Since others on here got acceptances yesterday, I'm thinking that my rejection is coming soon. SMH. This is my second round. I was pretty much ghosted by St. Luke's in February (I think everybody was?) Children's didn't even want an interview, even though my GPA is great. I had a first interview at Methodist back in February and then heard nothing.... not a rejection even. And now I'm back to square 1.

I was also ghosted by CHI St. Luke’s! Months later received a rejection, they didn’t even interview me. With Children’s I’ve heard they literally only take people who’ve had clinicals there. They also did not even interview me. Had like THREE rounds of interviews with Houston Methodist ICU then they declined me after grilling me on ICU type patients and questions like “what orders are you going to expect for a patient admitted with shock” I say labs, fluids, etc. they interrupt me and ask what kind of labs, what kind of fluids and at what rate? I’m LIKE ?????????

I would call and contact them I had an interview with St. Lukes Last month but they said we wouldn’t know anything until the beginning of July.
