Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

what is MH residency pay?

Yes actually does anyone mind posting the pay for each hospital.. if possible? Pay obviously isn’t the main concern, but I’ll be moving from out of state so it’d be awesome to know what to expect.. thank you!

Hello everyone! Has anyone completed an interview with Ben Taub in the medical center and heard back from them and received an offer? If so, do they call/email you & how long did it take for the decision? Thanks

I’m interviewing on Wednesday! And yes, it’s in person but they gave me the option to do virtual

I got an offer.  I think Harris Health has selected all their people since they’re currently working on dosage calculation and orientation stuff for The ppl accepted into the GN program, BUT I don’t think any of the hospitals will be 100% done sending out offers until the actual program starts in case ppl change their minds/fail NCLEX, etc.

That’s great, Congratulations! Which unit did you apply to? I had an interview for TSICU for nurse residency and I’m still waiting on them to come back to me. Hopefully soon!
