Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2021

Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

they didn’t, I’m guessing bc of too many applicants and maybe little positions. They said my 2nd choice can reach out if they don’t fill on match day but they will fill. My 2nd choice was CMH. Wbu??

I haven't received anything back! my application status for CHI and TMC MH still say under review, I applied to neuro units for both

I received a rejection email from CMH TMC. It was for the NICU unit, and I'm waiting to hear back on my second choice, which is General Peds.

You and I are in the same boat, and I think we applied to all the same places so I'll let you know if I see any updates but as of today I'm still in the dark. No changes to my applications and no emails.

Just got my email from Methodist (TMC) and was offered an interview for the OR! Woo! It seems to me they're going by specialty to let people know interview dates.

Congrats! I just got interview for Peds IMU. Silly question, but is it the same as general peds?

Congrats!! I believe its different, general peds is the roger clemens and childrens center north units. PIMU is the stepdown from PICU I believe
