Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

We will hear back ANY day between May 27th and 31st. Each unit sends its invites individually. For the Summer cohort, I got my invite on Monday, but my friend didn't get hers until Friday bc we applied to different hospitals and different units. The 27th is the earliest we will hear back. Don't freak out if you don't hear back on the 27th, you might hear back later during the week 🙂 hopefully we all hear back from our chosen units!

I think its ridiculous that memorial hermann has units withdraw, this is the first time I've seen this happen. I do not think I will participate in their residency because I will not leave med surg for med surg LOL.

I applied to antepartum at northeast and L&D at southeast, I am only interested in women services. they sent me an email stating that those units have withdrew and it was unanticipated

Does anyone know if Houston Methodist is holding a virtual open house for any site other than TMC?

I wonder why there's only a job posting for the med center and not any of the surrounding Houston locations
