Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2024

Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

Hi! I applied to a New Grad Residency at HCA NW a week ago, does anyone know how fast they reach back to you? It didn't have a start date or cohort, I'm confused when it comes to HCA residency cohorts, it seems like they have one every other month.

I also applied to the northwest Houston location about 2 weeks ago and haven't received anything after applying

It seems like they closed the application a couple days ago, hopefully we should hear back soon!

Do you know what units were accepting positions? There was no info on which ones were hiring or which ones we wanted to apply to

I am waiting on The Woman's Hospital of Texas applications for the fall to open up!

It didn't say but it did let us check off the specialities we're interested in. I hoping there's something other than medsurg tele LOL very hesitant to take that at HCA but I graduated in December and been struggling securing a job and just want to get my foot through the door. 😩🫠

From the online open house, unit leaders make selection on who to interview the 21st-24th, and reach out for first round interviews the 28th-31st
