Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2024

Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

LOL I forgot how weird some of those questions were on the assessment.

Hey when you guys submitted your letter of Recommendation and transcripts did you all attach it to the resume and submit one file? Or did you guys submit the LOR and transcript to the additional documents tab on the next page?

I attached mine on the additional documents tab

I did too. Are you able to see it when you review your application? I'm not and was wondering if it actually submitted

I wasn't able to see it, but when I reached out to the nrp team through email to add more documents, I asked for them to confirm that my other documents were added and they said it was on there

Were we supposed to send a transcript? Should I email them mine?

They said it's optional

It's optional. I submitted one this time but I didn't the first time I applied and it didn't negatively affect my application.

so I applied in the Spring and only got one assessment. this time I got one as well but it felt different ? did you apply before ?

I sent one too, I was wondering if we send more stuff it helps them between two applicants (tie breaker kind of)
