Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2024

Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

It took about 20ish minutes I think. I don't remember all of it but it was a couple of different parts (I think 4 but I could be wrong). Most of what I remember was a long list of statements and you have to click anywhere from strongly disagree to strongly agree (things like I work well in a team, a group project is more efficient, I would do x in y scenario, not these exact ones but stuff like this).

Commenting to stay updated! I graduated last december and wasn't accepted into a residency program for the last two cohorts..hoping fall is the one! 😀

That doesn't seem too bad! I'm just ready to get through it so hopefully I can move on to the next step. My application now says under review and it's making my nerves bad LOL

It's nothing too crazy 🙂 MH is really good at getting back to you about information (at least compared to the other hospitals I also applied to). They stick pretty well to the schedule they give you, so do expect to hear back the week of the 27th for interviews (could be any day, M-F, each unit sends their invites separately). Just focus on practicing your interview skills so you're prepared for the week of June 3rd!

I just got an email saying my application has been processed and to expect an email for the behavioral assessment!

Same!! I think it says we should receive it in 48 business hours

I did!! I sent two and a cover letter 😊
