Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2024

Published

Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

In case anyone was still looking for a job, Houston Methodist just posted a position for an RN I at their Emergency Room (Night Shift) that is accepted new grads as candidates! If selected, you would automatically be enrolled in their residency program

Did anyone else notice that those job openings they email for RN I positions have requirements that say "less that 6 months of clinical experience"? Doesn't that mean we can just apply without going through NRP (although preferred)?

have you heard anything from MDA yet?

no:/ I followed up today. They did say it was gonna be a few weeks

Has anyone who interviewed with St. lukes on 07/30 gotten either an offer or a rejection?
I haven't heard anything back yet, so just curious ...
