Actually the counselor that advised me to make my major health science was in West Loop. I got the same problem with my financial aid and I have to appeal it. :(

Hello Everyone and How are classes coming ? I have a couple of questions for you all. I went to Coleman campus on Fri to turn in my application and I was directed to an advisor. Well something weird had happened. The Advisor looked at my preqs,my grade, and my Teas score ( I already have a BSc) and highlighted my grade and score, then told me to register for the Seminar and then bring my application with me to the seminar. Does this sound right ? did this happen to anyone pls. I need to know how you all submited your application. was it at the seminar or at Coleman ? Thank you all

Yeah, an ER seminar is a requirement for the application. Did they say to turn it in during the seminar, or turn in the application after the seminar?

Don't forget to get the form that is signed that says you attending a nursing seminar!

I turned in my application in a folder with my unofficial transcript, application, hesi results and all the other stuff you have to turn in with your packet.

The attendance form will be given to you at the orientation!

No. Sorry, I forgot to clarify I turned in my application packet another day at the counselor's office at Coleman. You walk in, let the front desk ladies know that you want to turn in your admissions packet. Then you wait for a counselor to call you so they can check your admissions packet to make sure you have everything you need.

If you're missing anything, they'll catch it and tell you what you need to turn in. If you have everything, they take it and let you go. Then you play the waiting game.

That was exactly what I did, I walked in n the lady told me to log in on the computer and wait for an advisor. The advisor then came and took me to her office, looked at my transcript n wrote some numbers on them, highlighted some stuff in my application told me to register for the orientation and then bring my application packet to the orientation. It sounded weird to me, because I'd expected her to take the application from me. Btw my preques and Teas score are all ok

I got accepted the same way berrieberries got in. By giving my paperwork during a sit down meeting with an advisor

maybe what they meant was to make sure to get the attendance form for the information session that proves that you attended it already.

i would just go to the people hosting the session and tell them what your advisor told you.

EDIT: yeah halibop! i was told it's the only and the correct way to submit the application.
