Hello,

I just received my acceptance letter to Pharm Fall 2009 at Houston Community College. :yeah: Does anyone know if upon passing the class this fall, will I be allowed to began the nursing program in the Spring 2010?

Also, is there normally a Pharm online class offered?

Any other input regarding Pharm and HCC nursing program will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to start nursing in the Spring. I took Pharm last fall and was wondering the same thing. I am just now starting the nursing program. I though it was a little crazy until I realized that they do that because most people will still need to get their hep B series among several other things that are required prior to you starting the program. Stick with it though, it goes by fast.

Thanks! Good Luck with the program. Are they offering evening/weekend clinicals? I also applied for PV's Spring 2010 program and they informed me that pharm from HCC will not transfer. So I may be taking pharm twice. I am so ready to get it over with and I don't want to sit out an entire semester. How was pharm? They are team teaching our class with about 6 teachers and only offering 1 class! How inconvenient being that some of us work!!!

Yes, they are offering night and weekend clonicals. Pharm was good, I took it online though. I have heard that they in class pharm was really helpful though. I know how you feel about work, because I had to quit my job for the program. It's crazy, and hard to find employers that will work with you. Good luck in pharm, you'll do great.
