Houston Community College ADN Spring 2016 Applicants

Hi everybody!!! Well I got accepted for spring 2016, I took MA classes this semester and all I can tell you is that Coleman College is awesome. I was disappointed at first cause I was accepted-rejected-rejected-accepted but now that I been on campus this semester I am very happy to be in the program.

I hope you all get your pre requisites done. And I will see you on January 16. btw the amount of homework and exams is overwhelming so get ready.

Dr's office just called and said it was negative and that I need to wait longer for titer. I'm thinking I need another shot, which the earliest I can take is Feb. These titers really don't matter until clinicals which is later in the semester so I don't see why they can't give us until then to have a positive one. I'm just praying for favor at this point. I'm still planning on going to the orientation on Wed.

I'm excited as well. In the email, it shows she's aware I'm missing my titer, but that I should still come to the orientation. And although I'll be just getting off a 12hr shift at the hospital, I'll be there accompanied by my 5hr energy drink, lol!!!

Does this school offer night/weekend ADN program?

I'm pretty sure they offer evening ADN but only for students that start in the Fall!

FYI... They just added something on certified profile asking about your citizenship.

I hope that doesn't cause any trouble since it now places my certified profile to incomplete.

Hi guys, Im just wondering about the BON for HCC. Someone told me they may shut down the ADN program from HCC because of the low NCLEX result and not able to accept any students for fall 2016. I am a bit scared, Can someone verify this to me please if you have knowledge about it. Thanks!
