Hi to everyone! I have a couple of questions about hcc adn program.
First how many students do they accept for the fall semester?
If you have taken pharm at another school do they accept the class or will I have to take their pharm class?
How do they rank applicants ( Point system etc)
Is it really hard to get into their program? ( sorry I know that may seem dumb to ask)
I have finished all of the required pre reqs fairly good grades I have 2 C's. I took pharm at lonestar college. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks alot!
Hello! I took Pharm this summer at HCC and they told us in orientation that we could start in the fall if we pass the class and pass the math calculations test with at least a 90%. Hopefully you all can start classes in the spring. GOOD LUCK! :)

Katie: The ADN office staff registered us. I was able to access it via blackboard until yesterday.. so give a a try, you should be able to get in blackboard today.. good luck! So did you decided where r u taking your class? I'm taking my at the Coleman center.
thanks ariess2011 (sorry i'm not sure of your first name)! i did check blackboard and i see everything now. i decided to stay at coleman on mon 8am as well.
can anyone tell me how hard it is to get into this program? I took my HESI today at HCCS...just for the heck of it...(no reviews or anything like that) and completed the whole thing in 114 minutes and 14 seconds
Scores as follows:
A&P 88
Math 88
Grammar 82
Reading 89.13
Average 86.78
What are my chances? I've completed all Pre Reqs (a year ago) & all non RNSG subjects as well (A's in A&P, Microbiology, Advanced Algebra, Life Span, Psychology), (B's in Art, English and the rest) No C's in any subjects. I am kinda confused as to how hccs does their selection? Do i even have a chance in making it to the Pharmacology class with this HESI Score? Can I retake it to get a better score if need be? Please advise..
I just recently took the HESI a week and a half ago and have turned in the application, etc. Does anyone know how long it took for them to receive an invitation to take the Pharmacology class? And do they still do it via mail?
