Just wanted to know if anyone is applying this April to get in for fall 2015 ADN program at HCC?
Also, I have completed all of the required prerequisites and I am taking all of the recommended classes this Spring. Do I still have a chance of getting accepted even though the recommended classes are still in progress?
I plan on registering for the HESI as soon as HCC updates the test dates and I am hoping to get a date in February.
Then that settles it..guess we still need to take it prior to acceptance..haha. I haven't decided yet as I currently work night shift in the hospital on tuesdays and wednesdays so it is not really good for me. I am still thinking about what excuse to give at work to get off for june & july before I decide which one to take but it is probably going to be 9am.
Hi you guys i also recieved the email in regards to registering for the pharmacology. But i was also advised that pharamcology would be incoroprated in to the curriculum. if anyone finds anything new out please let me know ASAP. if we have to take the pharamcolgy then i need to register asap.
I also received an email regarding registering for pharmacology, I was under the impression that this was integrated in the nursing program ? Has anyone talked to the nursing advisors ?
I just called the nursing department and they said is NOT mandatory that Pharmacology be taken in the summer they only sent out that email stating that you can register if you'd like to take it over the summer rather than during the fall semester. The deadline has also now been moved back to July 15th so students can complete the new Microbiology pre-req. This is crazy.. But hopefully it's helpful information for everyone.
Thank you for the info. Did any of you receive an acceptance letter yet? Or the email telling you to register for pharmacology is the acceptance letter?
Hey guys. Went to the info session today and they said pharmacology is being offered over the summer, but unlike the previous semesters, pharm is now INCLUDED in the curriculum. Meaning you do not have to take pharm over the summer because you can take it in the fall as part of your curriculum. Also, the deadline was not pushed back- June 1st is the application deadline for everyone. However, since the just implemented that you must complete micro prior to starting in the fall, they are allowing you to turn in the application June 1st as long as you will have completed micro by July 15. I hope this makes sense.
basically- pharm doesn't need to be taken over the summer and apply by June 1st but it's ok if you are missing micro as log as you will have completed it by July 15.
