Congrats! I was just accepted as well. I must admit that I'm apprehensive about attending the HBU nursing program due to the amount of negative things that I have read on this website. To be fair, I've also read some positive things as well, but fear of the unknown has me paying more astute attention to the negative comments.

I just finished my first semester. It was tough and it also flew by. We lost about 3 members throughout the semester and we'll see who made it to the next. HBU is hard, without a doubt, but of you're dedicated you'll make it. Times will be tough and you will stay extremely busy, but hey, it's Nursing school! Study, study, study. There are opportunities to interact with members of your cohort and cohorts above, take advantage and make friends. The faculty is supportive and by the end, everyone knows everyone and your cohort will be your new family. I loved it, as hard as it was, as much as I stressed, the late nights of studying, the early morning clinicals, it was all a blast. HBU is amazing and they keep you spiritually healthy with prayers before your test by dear, sweet Mrs. Venda.
Don't let the negatives get you down. All I ever hear is HBU is hard, but you are going to be in charge if people's lives, why should it be easy? When you get there, look for me! My name is Sandra and I'll be more tham glad to give you some stepping stones fpr your first semester. Every one is helpful, well most, haha. Make friends and stay strong!
I know I good amount of people who were alternates and still got in, so stay hopeful and get your documents completed ASAP.
