You may want to move this to the travel nurse forum. I had several travel assignments. My agencies provided my accomodations.. I paid nothing. To give specific examples.. when I was working at the Mayo Clinic, I had a very nice apartment close to the hospital. When I was working in Honolulu.. I had a 19th floor condo on Waikiki beach.
There is no way I would work for an agency that did not provide free, safe accommodations.
I've used the FB groups, "Rent to Travel Nurses and other travel professionals" and "Travel Nurse Housing-The Gypsy Nurse" when traveling out of state. There you can find everything from a single room rental to a whole place for yourself. Graig list is another option.
Congrats on your new assignment.

In my experience, most travelers now take a housing stipend and get their own accommodations.

In my experience, the stipend was not my main concern. I needed safe, nearby housing. I was new to the areas... did not know , what I did not know. !00% percent sure, I would have never found a condo on Waikiki beach on my own. Let's wish the OP the best.

Hello, I recently got a job offer as a travel nurse @cleveland clinic on night shift. I have never been to Cleveland and I need help in getting a safe accomodation. Can anyone share safe options for accommodation. Are there good extended hotels or air bnb in Cleveland, Ohio? Thanks
