Hi everyone! I've visited a particular thread with the list of requirements for application, however, I wish to know which hospitals are currently open to hire and absorb nurses.

I volunteered in Fabella Hospital for one year..they prefer to hire those who have been trained in their Hospital..

guys, i know all of you are aware about this. there are really a lot of hospitals in provinces who needs nurses or volunteer nurses. if you really are frustrated looking for experience go places! provinces. i myself have proven this, i've been a volunteer community nurse in laguna. few weeks after i started being a volunteer i transfered to a hospital as a volunteer also, then months after i transfered to a private hospital. trainings there are really cheap. the only problem is hospital at provinces isn't appreciated much. right? but we all need experience. we need to learn. lets not waste our time. try this and after you've gathered enough. go back in manila. apply. you'll see. PROVEN

hello! may I know where the pcmc and vmmc located? thanks a lot
i'm not working at Fabella Hospital bacause they don't have any vacancies yet, unfortunately:sniff:..but they promised us that we will be given priority if they will hire staff nurses, since we were already trained in their Hospital..I'm hoping that they will keep their word and that they will not hire those who have backers.. the backer system is very prevalent especially in government hospitals...it's sad, but its the ugly truth.. and it really makes my blood boil too!!!

any news from CHMC???
If they prioritize those applicants who have backers but not qualified, what kind of quality of care/service would their newly established hospital render to their patients? I hope they'll think about that

the hospital hasn't started yet i think thats not a good thing to pinpoint of as the quality rendered since its new people get hired because they meet the needs of the institution...trust your capabilities and those who have backers as you call them which the right term would be contacts the world as we speak is a network of who we know utilize it! in business thats what you call networking...have a social life meet alot of people those people you meet everyday might be of service to you someday... bottomline your contacts are just people that will give you info or assist you but they are not the cause of you being hired it is you who will make that happen

dont be too defensive.. piepie is just stating the facts.. no need to tell that because you and I know the system that runs. you're lucky you have one. no offense. we just need a level playing field to be fair to all of us. i refused many jobs just to get in CHMC because the HR told me to wait. =)

i still don't have any updates with chmc. any news from them?
I agree:D.....you can't expect everyone to have a backer or to know every single person working in the hospital that you are interested in:uhoh3:...job applicants should be treated equally and they should be hired based on their qualifications, not based on who their backers are:lol2:..It's totally unfair that someone with a backer will just have to sit and wait for a job to land on his feet- not going through a mind-boggling exam or a nerve-wracking interview, while a poor applicant without a backer will have to shed blood, sweat and tears to get a chance on his dream job:madface::madface:...We all know that the backer system is deeply rooted in our society, but it doesn't mean that it is the right thing or it is acceptable, because whichever way you look at it, it is soooooo wrong!!!!!:madface::madface::madface::madface::madface:
