Hi everyone! I've visited a particular thread with the list of requirements for application, however, I wish to know which hospitals are currently open to hire and absorb nurses.
Hi to all. I would like to know if there are hospitals in Manila that are still accepting training programs. I'm still here in Brunei and will be back in the Philippines this April. I've heard that they have several requirements (like other hospitals) before you can undergo their Basic Training Skills. Kindly give me details for the following:
Training Program:
Training Fee:
Duration of the Training:
Requirements:
Contact Information:
Thank you very much in advance to those who can provide me info. God bless
try st. vincent hospital in concepcion, marikina city. they're currently hire nurses. first you have to volunteer in their hospital, if you can pass their exams (as well as having a good performance), they will offer you an employment. but if you failed to pass the exam or wasn't able to be hired as a staff, you can leave the hospital anytime, unfortunately you'll not receive any certificate from them.
Hi. Do u have updates with CHMC already? I still didnt hear any word from them. ==((
I called up the HR of CHMC yesterday and they told me they are already finished screening their nursing applicants, according to them, they only hired 75 nurses and they have passed the records of the successful applicants to the HRD, they also said that the HRD should start contacting the newly hired nurses before March 19, 'cause I think the hospital would start operating already by the 3rd week of March.
I hope you don't mind me asking, do you have a backer ms.annz?
Hi! thanks so much for the info. i dont call chmc office as im afraid to call them and decided to just wait. My gosh, only 75? I dont have any backer from that hospital that is why i dont kno what are the chances of me being hired.. Backer system is very prevalent nowadays. Im sick of it already but i dont think we can do anything bout it. its culture. anyway thanks again.. how bout u? r u also waiting for their call?
Guess what... Im in ( if you know what i mean) just got a text from chmc 3 mins ago......... thank God
Wow congrats dude! Do you happen to have a backer or you just applied there all by yourself? I'm also one of the hopefuls bro. Congrats again.
@annz16: I have a backer to tell you honestly but for some reason I don't like my chances, I have not receive a call or text from their HRD yet and I don't know if I will be receiving one in the near future. Well let's just keep ourselves posted like what johncfRN did cuz we still have a couple of weeks left before March 19.
just came home from a 10-6 training duty.. and im scheduled to come to the building at 9:30.. good thing im an hour away from the vicinity... im planning to go in my uniform to show how dedicated i am..
]by the way this is what they texted me.. i hope i dont get troubled for this..good day, we are glad to inform you that your employment application had been considered, in connection with this you are advised to visit us at ( adress of building) to get the list of requirements and schedule of medical exams ( time of appointment )

I agree:D.....you can't expect everyone to have a backer or to know every single person working in the hospital that you are interested in:uhoh3:...job applicants should be treated equally and they should be hired based on their qualifications, not based on who their backers are:lol2:..It's totally unfair that someone with a backer will just have to sit and wait for a job to land on his feet- not going through a mind-boggling exam or a nerve-wracking interview, while a poor applicant without a backer will have to shed blood, sweat and tears to get a chance on his dream job:madface:
...We all know that the backer system is deeply rooted in our society, but it doesn't mean that it is the right thing or it is acceptable, because whichever way you look at it, it is soooooo wrong!!!!!
