Hospital Love Stories ! ! !

it would be nice to read about someone having a crush on one of their co-workers or how you fell in love with that special someone.....this would be cute, so everyone share your stories.........:heartbeat

He is quite special, and seriously unique. He's from India and HIS culture is such that women are not as worthy as men. Long story short, he is quite Americanized. :)

I *am* proud of him. As I explained earlier, he treats the housekeepers with the exact same respect he has for his fellow MDs. He honestly, seriously, believes that housekeepers work every bit as hard as his MD peers. Now be honest, how many docs would say the same and mean it?

He doesn't look at job duties, he looks at work efforts. Suffice it to say, he has taught me a thing or two.

I am quite proud of him, and rightfully so. He is the light of my life. He makes living worthwhile. Not sure how else to describe it. Noooo, not saying life is worthless without him, but I am saying he has reminded me of what I already know. People are people and we all do the best we can in life. As long as we do *really* well in whatever our profession, we are seriously good people.

HE has reminded me of this simple fact and he continues to remind me when the lesson is needed.

Sounds like your hubby has some serious integrity - and likes a woman who stands up for what she believes! I'm holding out till I find a man like that! :1luvu:

I met my fiance during my summer externship between 1st and 2nd year of nursing school. she is a surgery nurse and I am an ICU nurse. She is 20 years older then me but I love her so much. I am quite lucky

Why are so many allnurse.com members wanting to spoil this Thread?

I've enjoyed reading the positive, constructive, and happy hospital love stories shared by some of us. IMHO, this Thread did not ask for advice on the do's & don'ts of hospital love stories. This Thread was meant for those that would like to share there positive experience R/T a hospital love story.

There was a "hospital love story" in Windsor Ontario recently. A nurse was dating a doctor, he stalked her, then stabbed her to death in front of everyone @ work (in RR)

Apparently he left the scene of the crime, drove to a park and O.D'd. He lingered in ICU for a couple of days before dying (makes you wonder what kind of care he recieved in ICU- I know what quality of care I would have provided)

how beautifull is finding love,wheather at work or in the frozen food isle in a supermarket. I am still holding out for it myself, but it warms yer cockles to hear wee gems like these, with the exception of the women that got stabbed.I don't want to go down that route.:wink2: :)

what am i supposed to say???

im just a student and i feel i kinda like this particular ortho resident in the hopital where our school affiliates. he's married so he's out of bounds. but i dont know, he's just so kind and i cant help it but be attracted to him.

i guess he's not stupid and he knows im onto him but he's very mature about it. he doesn't take advantage or anything of the sort, he just treats me like how im supposed to be treated!!!

You shouldn't even be giving him signals to make him even think you're attracted to him. Yes, you can think anyone is nice looking and nice, but to give signals is a NO NO!
