HOSPICE NURSES

Why is so hard for us to locate hospice nurses?

Featured Replies

Ok.. I've re-typed this message several times trying to be nice. You are REALLY going to have to give more info than this if you want any sort of a helpful response.

Are you trying to locate them in your area or on the forum or where?

Why is so hard for us to locate hospice nurses?

Who is "us"?

Where are you looking for these hospice nurses?

For what reason are you looking?

Do a google or bing search with the terms 'hospice providers' plus the state and county where the pt will be. That will provide a source for hospice nurses. If you are trying to find a private pay Rn with hospice experience, that's different and you would want to check up on experience and recommendations.

I would imagine the op is asking regarding finding hospice nurses to work for that agency....and if that's the case, I don't know either. We have utilized ads in the local paper, online, job fairs etc and still find it difficult to secure applications for employment of hospice experienced nurses
