I am an LPN. I have not had any action taken against my license. Two years ago I lost my home care case for some reason. I really don't know why his mother decided to fire me but she did. I do know that the nurse that came into replace me decided to have a tracheostomy placed. This was after a spinal stenosis surgery that helped to fix a collapsed lung. I have no idea why the tracheostomy was placed other than he had a lot of upper airway congestion and he hated to be suctioned.

Anyway after being fired I had some money saved up so I took some time off to be with my son. But I want to go back to work because I feel it make me happier. I don't know if I can. The agency I worked for wanted to give me another case but then they decided to fire me. I am really not sure why other then they thought I would not be able to handle the cases that they had. They were all premature infants at the time. I have had a case like that in the past that we sent to the hospital for a bowel intussception.

I don't know what to put on my application. I have been fired by both the agencies I have worked at even though I have worked for them for so many years. I really love nursing and want to help. It is very time consuming at times. It is hard for me to find a balance between my home and work life. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have thought about being a pharmacy technician but I don't think I could pay my bills. My husband is not a bread winner either.
