Holy Family University

I've recently been accepted to Holy Family's Accelerated Nursing program-- I understand they have just begun their first cohort, so finding information is very difficult and I just want to be informed before I make any sort of decision. Are there any current HFU accelerated nursing students or traditional nursing students who can speak to their experience with the university? I've seen many negative posts but they also seem a bit outdated! Thanks!

Hello! How long did you have to wait for an answer? I applied for the Fall 2018 program on Feb 22, 2018 and just waiting for an answer as well! I am so nervous! Wondering how long it takes! Thanks

Well you did not get the application in before the January 31st deadline-- I believe they look at applications after the other deadline which is March 31st. you could be waiting for a while. I would email them and see what they say.

CONGRATS MIKE!!!!!!! I am looking forward to being in this program with you...and the others who have been accepted! Can't wait to get started in Sept! Have you figured out what you will do for health insurance yet? Don said they school works with a company who offers a package, but that it's not great. I may do Cobra through my job once I quit, but I know it will be a fortune. I won't be approved for Medicaid bc I make too much money and have too many assets. I am not on FB, so won't be able to follow along...unless I sneak back on and set up a separate acct. lol Congrats again!!! Such a relief to know!

I went for an interview and it was very quick. It basically is for them to make sure that you are serious about the program etc. Betty Ann is who I met with and she was super nice and it lasted about 10-15 minutes.

I am part of the summer 2018 cohort. We have our orientation next week and I begin April 30th.

I guess that means our cohort is not full. Our original start day was in May and they pushed it up so that may have caused some people to have to wait for the Fall start.
