Understand he got a boo-boo and got some sutures, and his son was with him in the accident.......then again, being Guv-nah he was whisked in and out, no waiting......
Whoops....came back to edit this. I just realized that only CA nurses would really be familiar with this. Arnold Schwarzennegar, our illustrious governor, spent a lot of time fighting the mandated nurse-pt ratio and recently backed down.

He backed down only because all of his recent ballot initiatives were unpopular with the Californian voters back in November 2005. There were firemen, prison guards, nurses, and teachers breathing down his neck and he finally backed down.
Ah.....the power of really strong unions is pleasurable.

No offense intended. I don't pay much attention to other states' politics, assumed there are many others like me.
