HK nurse to California

Hi all！I'm a Hong Kong RN currently working in public hospital. Hope to move to and work in

California (Los Angelos/San Jose/Sacramento, since I have friends there). I know it takes step to complete all sort of exam e.g. IELTS, CGFNS, NCLEX.... would anyone please tell the exact progress that I should take in order. Also, as I dont have the SSN, could I still register CGFNS and NCLEX in HK? Thanks a lot！

Without a US SSN California will not accept your application. California do their own assessment and do not use CGFNS. California is not one of the easiest to get registration in plus many nurses struggle to find work that already live in the state so someone requiring to find a sponsor will find it even harder.
