I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

I'm hoping maybe since iv already taken the classes then the 2 yrs program would be less than the 2 yrs idk... I guess I will eventually find d out if we ever receive letters in the mail

Just seeing how everyone was doing, I haven't heard from the fall class, I was hoping to see how their first week was but no one responds. They must be super busy. I hope to hear from their class soon. My classes are OK. It's been 2 days, a lot of vocabulary words for statistics but everything else is good

Just patiently waiting for the letter! I start my fall class this evening. It should be so much easier than all the science classes I've taken for the past year and a half.

I started class last Thursday so that's kinda helping keeping me busy I'm taking statistics online but the class doesn't start till. Oct. Anxiously waiting on the acceptance letter or some form of info.. The wait is driving me crazy.... Hopefully we will find something out by the beginning of September!

My classes are all regular classes. Stats, humanities, human nutrition and life span. The last 2 classes I posted are online. im so happy im done with the prerequisite for nusing. The pressure has def let up. The only pressure now is three of the 4 classes im taking are prerequisite for my bachelor's at USF, but then again HCC and USF have a contract. We are guaranteed to be accepted as long as we graduate with an AS degree and complete their prerequisite along with the minimum GPA which is 3.2 I think for HCC students. As for the letters. Im not expecting anything this week. I am still a little antsy every time I check the mail. But I think It will really hit me next week. In the past 4 years the earliest a spring class got their letters was sept 10th. So im going to bet the second week of September . lol. Lets take bets for fun. Im guessing sept 13th.

I currently attend PHCC and wanted to apply for spring 15. I was thinking if i dont get in for spring to apply to HCC and PHCC fall 15 to increase my chances plus HCC has better hours. Anyone taking the TEAS soon?

With the spring 2015 class we are actually the last class to NOT have to take the TEAS test. We are all relieved that its one less thing we have to do. Good luck with your application at HCC and PHCC

omg I know you guys are so lucky!! I wish I had seen the deadline earlier To submit for spring at HCC. For PHCC the deadline is Sept and not June :/. thank you and best of luck to you as well! :)

Question, are u applying for ASN at PHCC? Because I looked up their bachelor program and it says you have to have a associates in nursing to apply to their bachelor's program.

just the regular RN program- 2 yr thing. I already have my pre reqs and AA degree

O nice ... u should have applied to USF and to this class here spring 2015 and see which one u get. Or even better u get accepted into all three and then u get to pick. That would have been great. Wish u would have applied to HCC by june 1st. :/
