I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?
I'm pretty sure we will be the only ones there that early standing by the bookstore hahaha! Bc the earliest classes I believe start at 8:00 :) I can't believe orientation is FINALLY here!!!! I'm excited and nervous, how is everyone else feeling?
I had a dream last night that I missed half of orientation and no one would tell me what was going on and they made me drop the nursing program. AHHH!!!! I will be setting like 10 alarms tmr morning LOL
I will PROBABLY be wearing jean shorts, an ohio state shirt, and gray and pink sneakers. But I'm not sure yet lol
hey can anyone offer any suggestions to my post :)Hey my fellow classmates, y'all have any ideas on what I should do these last two months to prepare for this upcoming program? do you'll suggest I brush up on old materials like micro or anatomy so I'm not lost starting this spring. I took this semester off to work more to save up money and this is the first time I take a semester off so my brain feels like it forgot everything because it hasn't been academically challenge the past couple of months if you know what I mean. Also last time I took anatomy was 3 years ago, although, I did great I forgot everything now.
hey can anyone offer any suggestions to my post :)
Hey, I would Def brush up on major organs and their function. I believe we will be taking a medical dosage calculations test shortly after starting. So I would look into that. I'm not sure how big on micro they are. I think as class starts and we get our agenda and books. We can read through the chapters. Anything u don't understand I would refer back to your books from anatomy. But if u have free time now. I would go for it and check out the functions of the major organs
ok ya I was thinking of doing that, while in the meantime studying for my cna. Medical dosage calculations?
