Hillsborough Community College - Spring 2014

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.

What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.

Whoever gets their mail first let us know!!! :D

My mail should be here in about 1 hour.....

It is starting to be a little silly. At least send out an e-mail to all the applicants and say it will be soon or 'sit on your hands for a week'.

It's worse than waiting for Christmas morning as a kid..

I'm from Cuba, I never had Chritsmas as a kid, so this letter is really like Chritsmas to me !!!

I got an email today that says my docs were received and to expect a response via U.S mail.... Maybe they just mailed it. If we don't get it this week, then I'm sure next week will definitely be it.

My B-Day is on the 26th and all i want is my acceptance letter and some TLC from the Mrs. Boss Lady...:) Lets see if i get 1, both, or neither..lol...

I rag on the guy, but he is actually a decent human and a good professor (when I understand what he's trying to teach).

Haven't been home to check my mail but since none of you received anything yet I'm assuming I didn't either :-/ idk what is taking so long to say we're in or not. Anyhow I applied to two other programs & should hear from them next month if all else fails with HCC. I'm bound to get in at least 1 of 3. I thought I'd share this that one of the nursing advisors told me about. It's a scholarship given to Rn students for exchange of two years of nursing service.
