Hello all,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!

No problem I will, I'm going to go into stores and check, I found a thread on here for HCC 2009 nursing they said that Landau has port wine scrubs and koi, and just looking at the color it does look like the ones the nursing students wear around campus. I will double check tho. I dont think any online site actually list Port wine, they keep it general. those two companies passed the eye test to me.

Hi I just purchased scrubs today from Uniform City in Tampa. The brand that I purchased was Cherokee and for that brand the color is actually called Port Wine. However they did have other brands but the colors was not listed as port wine (just wine) so the colors were slightly different (some lighter and some darker).

On Certifiedprofile.com do we still have to fill out all the paperwork for Brandon Hospital even though we are not assigned to that hospital?

You may need to since they are actually owned and operated by the same people.

I think that Certified Background only includes the things you have to have, because I don't have anything like that on mine.

Hello all, I know some of you took the cpr class at HCC, I was wondering what the turn around time was for them to mail out the card. I took the class on 12/07/12 so its going on a week now, did it take longer than a week, I forgot exactly how long they said it would take to receive.

I went with Cherokee workwear scrubs, based on uniform city's employee input that was the brand to go with. I hope this helps if your still looking for scrubs....

lovebug88, you can print this form from certified profile . If you click on it right there,where we should post it, it will open up. Fill it in, sign it and post.
