I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!
@sprmomof4 hope everything works out great for you! and hopefully by Monday these holds can be cleared out! do you have the email for the academic advisor for nursing? I want to try and email them too.

I did not get the email either. I did get a follow-up email from the director of clinicals (Herrin). It pretty much just said that certified background had emailed us and to contact her via email with any questions. I emailed her saying that I never received the initial email. If anyone has the access code (I believe they are different for each campus) please share.
Rachanee, thanks much. I did email her and she sent me the info as well. A word to the wise, pay attention to the code provided to you because she initially sent me the code for plant city even though I am DM student so I had to email her back. For our sake please read all the info carefully so we wont have problems.
