Hi everyone!

I know it's a little early, but is anyone out there applying to HCC's Nursing program starting Spring 2016? I am, and I'm dying for this semester to be over so I can submit my app! Just wanted to start the discussion since no one else has!

Hey, all you need is a 60.. If you can get a 75 that's awesome. I was thrilled to get above a 60 lol. That test was really hard! But yeah, I would study that portion and take some practice test. That really helped me. BTW... You can use a calculator on the test for math, so brush up on percentages lol

It was a hard test, the science killed me...since everyone thinks it's hard I feel more comfortable sharing my score. I got a 61.3%! 😰😱😅 skin of my teeth..I didnt study as hard since I knew we have two attempts lol...

Lauren- you get the results right after the test! And I scored a 65% on mine lol I honestly thought I didn't pass.

Now I'm really nervous! lol. That's why I bought a test prep book. I only have one shot since you have to wait 90 days in between testing.

Hey all!

I went to register for my TEAS test today (Yes I know, I'm a big procrastinator) and the day I wanted was full already. The soonest date is June 1st at 8:30am. I'm freaking out hoping it's okay to take the test the same day I'm turning in my app. Does anyone know if you HAVE to take the test at HCC? I originally scheduled my test at Keiser for next Thursday and I still haven't cancelled. The lady in admissions there said I could take it anywhere. I don't know if HCC is the same.

I don't see why it would be a problem to take the test the same day of the app deadline. You get the results immediately (a printed out copy), just throw that paper in with your app if you're worried it won't be in the system or something. I took my TEAS back in January but I still put my test score in with it (though it's not required). Call if it will make you feel better.

Good luck!!! What's your pre-req GPA and TEAS score? (If you don't mind me asking).

Do we just turn in the applications at the Student Services building?
