Hi everyone!

I know it's a little early, but is anyone out there applying to HCC's Nursing program starting Spring 2016? I am, and I'm dying for this semester to be over so I can submit my app! Just wanted to start the discussion since no one else has!

I am taking English Comp II and Nutrition

I am taking Developmental Psychology, Nutrition, IDS, Spanish II, and Humanities 2210. Almost to the W's can't wait.

I can't wait to applying in June of next year 2016 I am nervous I hope that I am able to retake my english class since they haven't added my transcripts from my other school fingers crossed í ½í¸ I know you all will get accepted what has been the lowest gpa to get in because they push a minimum of 3.5.

I just went to the student services building at Dale Mabry to handle some business and saw a staff member going in and coming out of the Health Sciences office a few times...It took everything in my power not to grab her by the collar and scream "TELL ME SOMETHINGGGGG!!!" 😩😩😂😂

Haha awww! I know I'm getting so impatient! I need to plan work schedule for next year and I just wanna know if I'm even in!

Hello ladies, I'm waiting to hear some news as well. My documents updated, my financial aid was cut and semi-reinstated and my backup plan for help with tuition fell through. My coping mechanisms are shot and I'm stowing away $50 for the RN programs at PHSC in case HCC denies me. I've been trolling HCC's webadvisor for any signs of acceptance. I recall a girl in one of my classes told me about something giving you a clue but I don't recall what it was. :grumpy:

I'm in the same boat!! I was denied financial aid because I already have a Bachelor's degree in something else. And I don't qualify for any more Stafford loans. Hoping if I get in that I can get a bank loan. The good thing about HCC and PHSC compared to Keiser is that it's WAY cheaper. But either way it's an investment.

It's Monday 8/17 and not a peep from HCC. My FA was reinstated and I'm still in limbo on any notification or acceptance. There have been no changes on my Webadvisor. I hope this week goes by fast, going to keep myself busy at work and I have three classes starting up this week to keep me busy. Ho Hum. C'mon already, this is killing me in a way that only the few of us understand. The uncertainty, the waiting, the game. To have a plan in place that will override the disappointment of not being let into the program. This is a rough Monday morning, but keep your heads up and focused, time for some coffee and positive energy. Have a good day ladies and gents!

Hey, any present Hillsborough Community College student around? I have some questions about the nursing program. I am a little scared since I am relocating and I want to get some insights about the nursing program before I apply. I visit and call the Dale Mabry campus but the advisors keep saying ,"a lot of I don't know." So I was thinking that a present student can answer some of my questions from their perspective.
