Hillsborough Community College Spring 2016 Applicants

Hi everyone!

I know it's a little early, but is anyone out there applying to HCC's Nursing program starting Spring 2016? I am, and I'm dying for this semester to be over so I can submit my app! Just wanted to start the discussion since no one else has!

Thank you for the welcome everyone. Is there anyone else on here that has not anything change under My Documents or My Profile? I checked with the bursar and they said that my Health Sciences application fee was processed so I know they received my application. I am just starting to get worried because it seems like everyone has had items change on their Web Adviser except for me. This wait is horrible, and I am hoping that I am just being paranoid. Thanks again for the welcome.

I just checked my documents and my application has been received and reviewed! My last name starts with an M so looks like it's getting closer to being done!

Thanks for the update hmanni. That makes me feel a little better hopefully next week will be the W's. Yes Neeneef I think I have set a record for logging into Hawknet everyday to see if anything has changed. Haha. Good luck to everyone.

That's great! My last name is "Miles" so I'm hoping I'm soon. Tomorrow marks 10 weeks since we applied!

Congrats to everyone unfortunately i'm not applying until the summer of next year so I will be feeling the same pain as most of you how do you manage oh and I have a question? Do only the nursing prerequisites courses count for gpa or do precourses such as mat 1033 count I want to know so i can keep up with my grade point average!!

Only the nursing prereqs count for your gpa.

Only the nursing Pre Reqs count when they figure your GPA to get into the program. Pre courses actually are never calculated for any GPA because they aren't considered college level.

It took awhile for my HCC application and my pre reqs to be marked as reviewed and received (guessing those are the two in question cause I saw other people with the same issue) it'll take a little while to be reviewed but it will. I'm taking Spanish and Statistics this fall.
