Hello,
I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.
Thanks!
I have a 3.57 and received an alternate letter at first. I received an acceptance letter two weeks ago that I am going to decline. I have already started nursing core classes at another college. I just wanted to let you all know that one of you alternates should end up with my spot. Hopefully this gives a little hope to those of you who are still waiting. Best wishes!
I recently talked to a nurse who works at Brandon hospital, she went through HCC's nursing program and highly recommended getting Prentice Hall Nursing Reviews & Rationales: Anatomy & Physiology by MaryAnn Hogan | 9780131720510 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble that book. She said it's everything we will need to know concerning A&P and to use it to review. Also to touch up on our algebra skills. Just thought I'd let y'all know. :)
I sent my paper in the mail accepting my seat in the nursing program last tuesday and received the acceptance letter last Monday. My check has yet to be deposited. Does anyone know someone I can contact to make sure it was received?

If i were you, I would call HCC if you haven't already. With that high of a GPA I would think you would of received an acceptance letter by now. They could of miscalculated your prereq GPA. I got my acceptance letter on Monday and my pre-req GPA was 3.61. I can't imagine how you must feel!
