Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

Hi all! I too applied for the Fall 2013 nursing program. I'm going in with a 3.43 which is low for fall.. It doesn't hurt to try though, right? 3 weeks ago , 2 of my docs on hawknet were still listed as not received. I called about it and the assist. Dean said they did in fact have everything but that it won't be listed as "received" until the app is viewed. 2 days later it was listed as received. I'm hoping we don't have too much longer to wait, but judging from the dean's response I'm thinking it could be a while:) best of luck to all of you! Hope tomorrow is the day!

Well, it looks like HCC is closed today so I'm guessing we won't find out today either. UNLESS, they mailed them yesterday....

Good luck to you all!! I remember being in your shoes and now I am finishing up my 3rd semester. Orientation for me was about two months before classes started (I started in the spring though).

Hello guys. Im also in agony.... my patience is running out:arghh: Last fall the applicants started hearing answers by march 28 th, but it looks like we will be tortured longer. Please if any of you get an answer let us all know asap.

Has anyone e-mailed lately to see if there is some kind of update they can give us? I e-mailed them 2 weeks ago, and they said to allow 8-12 weeks from 1/15...12 weeks is 4/9...one week away.

I know, it's so frustrating isn't it? I sent an email a couple of weeks ago and got no response. I don't even know if the committee met yet. I have unfortunately studied the previous years, I know crazy right? But it seems like it gets later each year. Last year was March 29. So it will probably be next week or the following. I just want to know already. I feel for everybody on here because we are all on the same boat. At least we can vent to each other.

Hello All, Just wanted to wish everyone Good Luck, I hope you guys get your notices soon. I will be applying to the Nursing program at the end of this semester for Spring 2014 entry and im already starting to get anxious. I can only imagine what you guys are going through now.

Ok so we're rolling into the 12th week. I guess this is our week? I just hope that if this takes longer than what was projected, that they at least give us some kind of update so we can have some sanity. Ijs don't wanna have to drive out there just for an update but I will lol so if yall hear something first let me know

Hey everyone! After keeping track of all these posts I finally got around to making a username to comment. I applied for the Plant City program with about a 3.5...which makes me super nervous because I know it's pretty much the cutoff. This wait is driving me crazy!
