Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

No, nothing. I'm usually patient, but I'm starting to get impatient. I wish they would at least let us know if decisions have been made and when they'll be sending out acceptance letters. As soon as I get or hear something, I'll post.

I'm the same way. It's almost to the point to where I don't even care anymore! I have big plans that are on hold pending their decision! I think it's a little ridiculous that they take 2 months to decide and leave us completely in the dark. It's not like they are electing the damn pope...

Actually, I wished it was like electing the pope, simply because they came to a decision in less than 2 days.

Good point! I was referring to the secrecy part of the whole process. Can't call, can't email, can't speak to anyone.....crazy

Maybe we need to look at HCC and if we see white smoke, we'll know when a decision has been made. I'm the same as jheyder, I'm going to NY for a month and need to know when the orientation is, if I get in that is. Well, if anyone hears anything please let us know.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that is impatient and a little bit aggravated that we cannot get any information whatsoever as to the progress of things. Tuesday will be 11 weeks. I REALLY hope this thing doesn't drag out beyond the promised 12 weeks. In looking at past threads (which I have studied in detail, to the point of insanity...lol), the latest date that letters were received was 4/29. That is tomorrow, so MAYBE? Not getting my hopes up. So grateful for this thread...we are all in the same boat.

It may take longer because they have someone new handling the process. So, we need to be patient a little longer, even though it does seem harder the closer we are to the time we should start getting the letters. Don't worry, I think we may be in the home stretch. Maybe today will be the day. :yes:

Nothing in the mail today :banghead:. (I love the smiley face choices- that one is called "banghead". LOL. Totally fits how I feel after I check the mail each day. Gotta have a sense of humor about this, or we shall surely go mad. :wacky:
