I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!
Well, I don't know about the rest of you all, but I am on the edge of my seat today. I really hope @Bean27 is right and we hear today. I don't know if I'll be able to relax this weekend otherwise ? Anyone trying to come up with ways to stay distracted this weekend, just in case?
I understand your anxiousness. I heard it was going to be this week, but sometimes they are just so overwhelmed processing so many apps from all health science depts. my best advice is to enjoy your weekend! Once you get accepted, things will get crazy (getting all your immunizations, cpr, etc etc).
I'm thinking there were a lot of applicants, there's a delay due to the school being closed for the holiday and Hurricane Dorian, and them opening the LPN to RN bridge back up. Honestly, I'm unsure of what the delay is this go around. For the Fall the application period closed on May 15 and we had our results on June 17th.
That’s the frustrating part, the not knowing. I get that they have a lot going on; the waiting is what’s driving me crazy!
It's driving me crazy as well!! I'm going to try and not look until next friday, I won't get my hopes up for to early in the week. I saw someone got their letter on the 25 for the spring term last year.

Absolutely. So for 1st semester you will take : fundamentals (lecture) , critical thinking (lecture) , and Essentials (lab skills). My schedule is: Mondays (9am-4pm) Tuesday’s (8am-10am) and Thursday’s (10-4pm). Obviously the schedule can change but just to give you an idea of how many hours I’m in class. Also, the workload is NOT insurmountable! I Am getting through it just fine and calm. Don’t be scared, it’s totally do-able, the teachers so far I’ve worked with are amazing !!!

Thanks!!! That’s definitely helpful. Are you able to work at all? I have an 8-5 job right now and applied for hopefully the evening class but I’m not sure if they’ll even work with that because I think the evening schedule starts at 5
