Anybody applying ...? =)
I'm planning on moving out by the first day of school and I'm looking for classmates who would like to become my room mates. I'm checking out student housing at Reflections and Collegiate Hall on Bearss Ave, either 2bed/2bath or 3bed/3bath furnished apartments. Any nursing students interested in rooming with me or if you are already living in these apartments and are about to renew your lease can contact me through my email: [email protected]
One of the reasons I would like to room with other nursing students is so that we can practice taking blood pressures, study together at home when were not on campus, review nursing notes, carpool to class etc. I am assigned to Dale Mabry mornings.
here are the websites to the apartments:

I still haven't heard anything from them neither. Hopefully we'll here something on Monday for Tuesday at the latest. I talked with someone at WIA and they said that they run out of "free money" for June and it won't be til mid July that they'll get funded again. So we might not hear from them til then, but I don't know. One thing that's a little confusing to me: who's paying for us, is it the hospital or WIA. If it's WIA, then we don't have to reimburse them at the end of the program(per Paris if u still remember), which means we don't have to work for the hospital afterwards. Anybody out there with a clue?
BRH had a deal set before they ran out of $ so that doesn't factor in. WIA alone can contribute up to a certain amount on its own, but it wouldn't cover it all, and BRH would kick in the rest. You can choose WIA alone, wait for the $ to come back in, and if you qualify that way not have to pay it back or work at Brandon. If that is the case and you don't care to work there or for any hospital even, let them know so it opens a spot if you are one of the 12. I am praying for that sponsorship more for the guaranteed job than the money for school! It is hard for new grads with no experience to get a hospital job, every ad you see mentions at least 6 mos or 1 year experience for anything at any hospital.

I guess those of us waiting for campus assignments will be finding out either Monday or Tuesday. This business day is almost over.
I just want to know where I will be driving twice a week. So frustrating the wait!! Sorry it helps to vent!! :)
I hope everybody gets the location they are hoping for!
