Anybody applying ...? =)

Feeling strange. Got no email or snail mail in regards to location change or campus assignment. Wrote HCC yesterday & confirmed my email was up to date. Hmm...

Were you accepted first or an alternate then accepted?

I received my email, I am an alternate. When I applied, I originally put my gmail account; Later on, I updated it in the system and put my HCC account. However, whenever the Health Sciences Department is sending emails, they always use my gmail account. I would suggest that you check the other email, if it was different than the one you have on file now.

Here, I am hoping for DM... if I got SS or PC and someone else wants to switch, let me know...

I will be more than happy to make both us happy! :yelclap:

I know how you feel i haven't got any either and i was not an alternate. I email Ms Flores and she told me all emails will be out from now until next week. It frustrates me how discombobulated their system seems to be.

I was accepted in the first round. No alternate. I guess it's just a matter of time. Either way I will be at orientation. I confirmed my email was good to go as well. Thanks for all the feedback.

I wouldn't worry about not getting emails...or things not being updated in webadvisor, any of that stuff that's changing for some and not others. They do tend to do things in rounds. They did tell us in our letters we'll know by orientation so I wouldn't worry at all. :) I'm sure it'll all work out by next Wednesday!

Thank you to this thread and all involved. This is my first post, but I can say I have been reading this thread since page 1, while waiting on HCC *and waiting and waiting. Thanks to all of you with quick responses, i still have my sanity because of this group.

I put in for Plant City nights and this is so hard waiting because if i don't get nights i will have to quit my job and pay for school with monopoly money. No pressure right lol.

Crossing my fingers for something today. If i get anything but plant city i am willing to trade with anyone whatever i get for PC nights.

looking forward to updates,

xo

Still no email :(

I'm curious if anybody applying to the Wia/BRH thing have heard anything? Nothing here... Yet!

I have been going back and forth with Financial Aid about Pell since I've graduated and nothing is showing up. This is the email I just got, in case any of you are in the same boat.

The appeal form is available online now for the 2012/ 13 year. It is on our website under the Forms link: HCC - Student Services and Enrollment Management

Since you have graduated with an AA degree, Financial Aid can only pay for classes required for your nursing degree now. In order to do this, you will need to appeal after each semester’s grades post and ensure you complete all of your classes with at least a C or above and do not withdraw from any courses. On the form, in Section B, you would select #4 and you will need to see an Academic Advisor to get a signed degree audit after you have registered for fall classes. Then submit the appeal to us.

I am going through the same thing with them now (even though i didn't graduate but close to 60 credits) the advisor told me it would be best to wait until my status change from applicant to nursing student or enroll whatever it would say. So if yours is already change you can go ahead and appeal i think
