Yeah, I got accepted to Southshore and my status is listed as applicant as well. Hope to meet everyone next week. It should be an interesting orientation and I'm sure most of any questions I have about the program should get answered.

So since I still didn't receive the email, I wrote MF and she replied:

"Please note that not everyone has received their campus assignments. All newly accepted Nursing students will receive their campus assignments via email prior to Orientation."

I am an alternate, just in case some of you are still waiting.

just got this email. was hoping it would be campus assignments!! letter is below.

dear fall 2012 nursing student,

the location where fall 2012 nursing orientation will be held, has changed. it will remain on the dale mabry campus, however, it will now be in the following building:

dale mabry campus, library building, 3rd floor.

the scheduled time has not changed. it is still from 8 am to 4 pm both days.

yea I was looking at the changed location email too. It doesn't say where on the third floor. Is there an auditorium or a conference room big enough to fit everyone on the third floor?

Hi,

I am an applicant for the HCC Spring 2013 program. I have a question regarding campus assignments that I was hoping one of you could answer. I remember on the application it asked about campus and night/day preference. Is this what they use to give you your campus assignment, or do they ask about preference again when you mail them back your acceptance letter? Thanks!

On ours, the application only asked for night/day, and nothing about campus. They sent out an email a couple weeks ago asking us to choose which campus/time we wanted and mail that back - we just got our actual assignments yesterday. If they asked you about both on your application, you may not get another; however, once assignments are made you may be able to find someone to switch with. This board is a great place to "meet" your fellow applicants, and that should help you find a swap-mate if you need one.

I'm pretty sure our listed campus as well, but it didn't list all the night/day/weekend options. Either way, I'm guessing they have fixed that on the new application and what you choose on the application is what they will assign your campus from.

I am looking for DM, but have not gotten my assignment yet. I will keep you posted if I get SS and would love to switch. Keep me in mind and I will keep you updated as things unfold.

Thanks! I originally put DM days on my app, but now DM evenings would work better with my husband's new schedule/childcare. I'll email health sciences and see if they can tell me, if not hopefully I'll be able to swap with someone!

Just to throw it out there...I'm hoping for a seat at SS as well. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll end up there without having to do a swap. Hopefully emails start coming out soon for the second group!
