When I checked webadvisor and it kept saying my loan was pending, I finally went in to see what was taking so long...that's when they told me everything.

My financial aid was just not showing up, and i think they sent me an email which made no sense. I went up there to see them but you are right they don't seem to know a lot, I wonder if any of the previous nursing student went through this process. i would be good there hear from someone who had to go through it

I just got back to town from my sisters wedding. 6 days out of 12 in the car with a 5 & 10 year old will make you crazy!!!

I have my interview for the Brandon Hospital scholarship Thursday, same day as my CPR class. I'm so excited that stuff is finally happening after such a long wait!

I did score some books from my step/mom. She's a LPN, and I got a few of her books from when she went a few years ago. Med-calc, care planning, maternal/newborn (my goal), drug reference, and OLD medical dictionary. I know they are practical side, but I think they will help. And hey... They were free!! :)

anybody receive correspondence from financial aid yet? if i do not receive aid, i am screwed.

Brandeekins, i am interested in the Brandon Hospital program but not too inform. Did they call u in for a interview and also is there a place where you apply?

On 5/31 there was an info session and they called for interviews the people from that list. You should have gotten an Hcc email about it last month.

However I have heard that other hospitals do it too. We talked about it some on here in May if you want to look back.

Basically they only take 12 students that qualify for FL WIA (for laid off workers), they get tuition and books paid, but have to agree to work for 2 years.

I don't know if it's too late for Brandon but you can call HR at 813-571-5188.

I'm going to assume we're going to remain applicants until after orientation. I don't think they'll list us as students in the program until we've been drug tested.

Just got the mail. NO CAMPUS ASSIGNMENTS YET!! :( Oh, I am so hoping for DALE MABRY! Everything else is forever away. I live in pinellas County. Keeping my fingers crossed. Does anybody have the inside scoop of when they will be sending the campus assignment letters out??
