"Letters were mailed out last Friday so give it a few days!!"

I hope she wasn't yelling at me!! I wish she would just say, "You were accepted to stop worrying about everything!" Ugh. So maybe tomorrow you guys...

Did you apply for the night and weekend program?

I applied for daytime, Southshore Campus.

I hope that all of the fall options are evaluated at the same time and that we all receive our acceptance letters tomorrow.

Me TOO. Just checked my mail and as expected, nothing from HCC. I did receive my Starbucks Gold Card though! :) Yippee. So not thrilled at the moment.

Nothing for me either. But I think I stumbled into why our letters are so late....

I had to stop at the post office earlier today to certify mail a letter for my dad. First went to my local post office in TT & found a lovely line going all the way out the door. Not only that, but the automated machine wasn't working. There was a customer at the end of the line yelling on the phone to someone who I assumed worked for the post office because he was saying on the phone: 'your computers are down so customers can't pay for stamps with their debit cards?' and 'no ETA on when they'll be back up?' & then the last (and most memorable) 'we should just stop waiting in line & find messenger pigeons?'....needless to say, I walked right back out and asked my hubby to drive us to the next branch by my daughter's daycare which is in Tampa. Only to find the same thing, long lines, ticked off customers.

I just hope their systems are squared by tomorrow. :uhoh21:

If the letters don't come by tomorrow I may die from exhaustion! I haven't slept good in days! I work nights so I half-sleep during the day anticipating the mail. Once it comes I can't go back to sleep due to the enormous disappointment of not receiving it.

The letters must not have actually go into the actual mail until today. If the nursing department took them to the HCC mailroom late Friday, the mailroom may not have touched them until this morning. Who knows.... The letters actually comes in a plain envelope with two or three pieces of paper, or one piece if you are not accepted. As I mentioned before I was accepted for the Spring 2011 term but gave up my seat but when I got the acceptance letter for the Spring term I got it the day after it was postmarked. The waiting was painful the first time around. Hopefully everyone will begin receiving letters tomorrow!

let's see if my guess was right... i called Mar 22/23... I'm thinking i'll get mine 23rd since I'm in Miami... but we'll hopefully we'll be seeing a whole bunch og "I got in" messages.... !!!!! ONE MORE NIGHT TO GO GUYS!!!!
