Hi. I'm "Jane". New here.
Currently attempting my fourth try at college. I decided after 15 years that I was going to bust my bum to get into nursing school. I'd be well on my way, except for the prerequisites. So. Much. Science.
Anyway, I simply wanted to introduce myself.

Hi, Jane. I'm new here, too. I've been teaching elementary school for the past twelve years, and I'm applying for a nursing school program that starts next fall. I've got to finish all the prereqs, too. I'm taking bio right now, and anatomy and physiology I next quarter. I'm almost forty, and I think I might be a little crazy, but hey, we can do this. )

Welcome Jane, nursing was my 4th attempt at college also and it has been one of the best things I have ever done. Sometimes it just takes a while. Good luck!

Hey Jane! Not so new here myself (started this journey 10 years ago) but life took me in a different direction. I manage a flower shop (have worked there for about 20 years) and have decided to stop dreaming of being a nurse and actually do it. I will re-start taking pre-reqs in January. Yay! Good luck to you and welcome to AllNurses!!
