Hi Nymia! VEEB requires an entrance exam to get in, I went to W. Suffolk BOCES, which is far from your town, but a good school. I just wanted to warn you SFH will not pay any money towards LPN school, their reasoning is they don't hire LPNs, they will only reimburse courses for professions they hire (RNs, PT, PA etc.). You may want to consider an 1199 workshop, after working for them for a year, they pay for most of all of your education.

You can try Southern NY Association or 1199 to pay for you to go to VEEB. You would have to wait until next September for Veeb though. Also, remember VEEB is a vocational school so you will not haveany credits transferred if you decide to do the RN.
Check out Saint Vincents Catholic Medical Center in Queens.

There is a good LPN program located in Plattsburgh NY (about 2 & 1/2 hrs North of Albany) @ Champlain Valley Tech. located on Military Tpk. Nice close relationships with instructors, clinicals are done are done at CVPH medical center (located about 5 min. from the school). Contact Joan Rice (Director of LPN program). I started there about 10 yrs ago, currently I am employed at CVPH as an RN in L&D.
If finances are an issue, I might suggest going straight for your RN at Clinton Community College, also located here in Plattsburgh, again, a wonderful program.
Good Luck
