I am a new new member here,.and ive been reading a lot of discussions in this site that's very interesting. I fail my first exam in nclex just a couple week ago :crying2: and i dont know if i already get over it.,but i still want to continue reviewing but i dont know where to start again,.Can anyone pls give me a tip of what materials or website is good to review that will help me a lot on my studies?? Thank you much and Godbless

I did Kaplan. They will return your money or let you re-take the course for free if you don't pass the first time as long as you make sure to complete their entire course content before you sit for the exam. Although I felt like the NCLEX was an entirely different experience then taking any of the other practice tests I had ever used to prep for it, I believe Kaplan prepared me the best. Good luck. Hang in there!

KAPLAN WORKED FOR ME!!!!!

only use kaplan you will pass! its expensive but worth it

Just some suggestions that helped me pass my first time...I studied all of the lab values including blood gas stuff, review as many meds as possible, lots and lots of SAFETY questions, the different precautions (standard, airborne, droplet, contact). I got some cd's for my laptop that contained nclex study questions and every day for 3 weeks i answered 100-200 questions a day on different subjects. It really helped me get into the set up of how nclex asks their questions! So even if you may not know the RIGHT answer, you will have a good idea of what answer they are looking for! GOOD LUCK DEAR!!!!!!!!!

Go to the National Council of the State Board of Nursing (www.ncnsb.org). They are the developers of the NCLEX and have an online review course that is excellent. I used it, took boards last Thursday, only had 75 questions, and found out I passed on Monday!

Good luck to you whatever you choose!

First you need to get your chin up:). Then you MUST do something enjoyable to you. Anything, just please pamper yourself. Once you have let that awful feeling of not passing, pass away, relax and realize you are okay and will pass it the next time. When you get to this point, start studying, paying attention to your weak areas and know you can and will do it. We are pulling for you, now you have to pull for yourself. Peace!

that $400 in kaplan includes the online test and physical classes?,.pls let me know,.thnk you :)

Hi Nursetobe,

I know how it feels not passing the first time, and wondering if you will ever pass. Check my thread 4 years ago and do a search "What I did to pass the 2nd time". There, you will see tips I followed to pass the NCLEX the second time around.

To everyone who replied, I apologize if I didn't respond. I wasn't aware I had so many responses. To those who had to take NCLEX the first time or again I hope this time you passed.

Good luck and don't give up!

"That is exactly what i am thinking now if i will ever make it again,.but i will surely do research that tips,.thank you so much and may God bless you always",. :)
