Hello,
Just relax and Stay Positive , you will pass. A lot of us getting ready to take the nclex or those who have taken it are over in the students section, be sure to visit that part of this site. Best of luck:)

I agree with MBrn Kaplan materials are great...I took the NCLEX-PN back in April and I passed! I stopped @85 questions! When you purchase the book it guarantees success in the beginning of the book..they also offer review questions in the back of the book for review purposes. Good Luck and Congratulations! :w00t:

I have heard the Hurst is good BUT- our school did the Rinehart Review (which is 300.00 @ school and only 60.00 on line). It comes with a book to follow along and fill in blanks for the review and a cram-master exam c.d. I am currently studying for NCLEX as well. Rinehart also guarentees pass and if you attend one review then you can attend as many as you want across the state/country/etc for a lifetime. :)
thank you guys for the info And motivation i will surely keep them in mind,.God bless you all :)

Hi Nursetobe,
I know how it feels not passing the first time, and wondering if you will ever pass. Check my thread 4 years ago and do a search "What I did to pass the 2nd time". There, you will see tips I followed to pass the NCLEX the second time around.
To everyone who replied, I apologize if I didn't respond. I wasn't aware I had so many responses. To those who had to take NCLEX the first time or again I hope this time you passed.
Good luck and don't give up!

I passed the first time but would not have been surprised to fail it! Seems all the questions had nothing to do with what I did in nursing school (other than the fundamental stuff). What helped me out the most was having a good strong knowledge base of pathology and pathophysiology. And staying relaxed. Don't overthink and never change an answer unless you know 100% you are wrong! Good Luck! You'll get it next time!!
