HFCC Winter 2015 Nursing

Hello Everyone,

Just thought Id make a thread to talk to any other HFCC Winter 2015 students. I was one of the last people on the wait list, and should be in the winter 2015 students. Any others that are on the wait list or anyone that applied?

Would love to talk to you guys.

Has anyone heard anything yet? They said we should get our letters by the end of this week.

I got a call from the nursing dept. Monday asking was I still interested in my slot. They also told me verbally that I'm in for winter 2015. In addition, I was told to expect a letter by the end of the week as well. Maybe we'll get it Friday...or, if they mail it Friday, could be Saturday or perhaps even Monday. Please keep me posted guys and good luck...

Are any people who applied to selective admissions going to be getting in? Did any selective admissions people get in for fall term? Also, how many spots are available and how many people were still on waitlist after all the fall spots filled up? I'm getting so anxious!!! No telephone call for me!

I called the nursing office today. They said they are still working on sending out the invitations. But she told me that they are depleting the waiting list with the winter semester. So anyone on the waitlist, as long as they still want to be admitted, will be given a spot.

But I still havent received anything, which is making me nervous.

Do you know how many wait listed and how many selective admittances are being given for it??

No, I dont. Im sorry. But I dont think there is much people left on the waitlist.

I dont know exactly what number I was.

But, I just got my Welcome email!! Check your hawkmail for yours.

Ok thanks! Nothing in email for me yet... But you probably got yours earlier since you were on waitlist and guaranteed a spot. I on the other hand have to compete with the remainder of students :(
