  1. Turns out they did have the right address. The post office probably sent it to the wrong address or lost it. Im so thankful they sent out emails first, otherwise I probably would have missed orientation and my seat would have been given up. They gave me a copies of the acceptance letter, and instructions. Thanks everyone.
  2. Thanks Art Dozier, I think Ill stop by the nursing dept tomorrow, and see whats going on. They probably have my old address.
  3. Has everyone that received an acceptance email, received their acceptance letter in the mail? I still haven't received mine, Im afraid they might have my old address. Even though on my account on web advisor it has the current address, and I have received stuff from HFCC to my new address.
  4. I agree with art dozier, xxnursexutie. Just wait and see what happens. I really do think only the wait listed people got offered acceptance letters so far. I bet they are still waiting on how many people will accept the offer, before moving on and sending out the selectives acceptance letters. With all the volunteer hours, and classes, I bet you will be accepted. I know we have to turn in our acceptance letters, by the 26th. (at least thats what my email says), so maybe wait and see if they send you anything afterwards. As art dozier said, I think there were less than a hundred people on the wait list, so I believe there is still hope. Good Luck:)
  5. They are also mailing out the acceptance letters too. But they also sent out emails too. I only know people who were on the waitlist, who got in. Maybe they are going to fill up the waitlisted people than do the competitive selections? Unless some people that were under selective admissions already got their letters.
  6. Xxnursexutie, Im sorry, on the Facebook page for HFCC Health Careers and Nursing Admission, someone commented saying alternates and rejections will be sent out later. I would call on Monday if I were you. I hope by now you received something. People are still getting emails now, from what I saw on Facebook.
  7. I know exactly how you feel art dozier! Xxnursexutie, yes art dozier was on the waitlist. On the first page of this thread you can see their post. Have you received anything yet?
  8. I got on the waitlist in July 2013
  9. I dont know exactly what number I was. But, I just got my Welcome email!! Check your hawkmail for yours.
  10. No, I dont. Im sorry. But I dont think there is much people left on the waitlist.
  11. I called the nursing office today. They said they are still working on sending out the invitations. But she told me that they are depleting the waiting list with the winter semester. So anyone on the waitlist, as long as they still want to be admitted, will be given a spot. But I still havent received anything, which is making me nervous.
  12. Has anyone heard anything yet? They said we should get our letters by the end of this week.
  13. Stormn14, I really hope we get our letter soon. The waiting is killing me. I just want to get started, and know how it will all go. Do you know how the first semester is usually laid out?
  14. I am. Im taking Microbiology, World Religions, and a math class. Taking them to transfer for my BSN after I finish from HFCC. All this waiting for letters to be sent out is making me impatient. ?
  15. Art dozier,I know how you feel. I only missed the dead by a few people. At least we should be getting our acceptance letters soon. Are you taking any classes during fall?
