Hello Everyone,
Just thought Id make a thread to talk to any other HFCC Winter 2015 students. I was one of the last people on the wait list, and should be in the winter 2015 students. Any others that are on the wait list or anyone that applied?
Would love to talk to you guys.

I was also one of the last on the wait list. It's been a long haul. I've been waiting since passing the HESI in may of 2013. I was originally supposed be in the fall 2014 class but that changed when they cut class sizes down and I missed the cut off by 10 slots...

Art dozier,I know how you feel. I only missed the dead by a few people. At least we should be getting our acceptance letters soon. Are you taking any classes during fall?

Bubbles87, no I'm pretty much locked and loaded for winter 2015. I was originally an engineering major with a minor in business, so I had a lot of overlapping classes that will satisfy most requirements when I make the push for my BSN. I started to take a pathophysiology class, but decided against it because i didnt know whether it would transfer or even be needed depending on the bachelor program i will eventually be in. What about you? Are you taking classes this fall?
I am. Im taking Microbiology, World Religions, and a math class. Taking them to transfer for my BSN after I finish from HFCC.
All this waiting for letters to be sent out is making me impatient. ?

Hi, I am also waiting to start the program in the winter 2015. It also has been a journey for me. I changed my major from Accounting to Nursing. I look forward to starting the program. The waiting is the part i dislike. I was told there will be an orientation meeting in October for us. So, hopefully we will receive welcome letters any day now.
Stormn14,
I really hope we get our letter soon. The waiting is killing me. I just want to get started, and know how it will all go.
Do you know how the first semester is usually laid out?
That's great. Between micro, math and a religion class, you have plenty to occupy your time until our much anticipated moment of truth. Good luck to you and I luck forward to meeting you and others in January
