Hesi Complaint Phone number

Please do not flag this post I am not trying to be negative but realistic. I to want to pass and I am willing to work for anything. However the majority of my class this year and last year failed the Hesi the average score for both years was below passing. I personally did over 1,000 Nclex questions to prepare for this test I used the most expensive and popular books and studied what my teacher said to study to pass the exam and I still failed I am passing the class. The problem with this is exam is that the questions are worded in a way that you need a master's degree in physiology to pass. The questions do not test your critical thinking or help you save lives it is a terrible exam and needs to be overhauled. If you have the same concerns please call this number it is a Hesi hopefully they will do something about it. I know about 98% of my class feels the same way. Here is the Hesi complain number for evolve should get you in touch with the right people spread the word 800-950-2728.

The problem is that as long as schools provide a ready source of business, there is no incentive to make any kind of change to the exam. If schools would stop purchasing the service, the company that is responsible would make the necessary changes. That will never happen.

HESI wasn't around when I went to school so all I know of it is what I've read here and heard from others. However, if my program was requiring an exam that has become relatively standard in nursing schools across the country and the majority of my classmates and I weren't able to pass it, I'd be complaining to the Dean of my program before I complained to HESI. Nursing school was not cheap and no way was I going to pay someone to not even teach me well enough to pass their exams.

I'm not trying to knock your program. There was a similar problem at my school when my class complained about one of our instructors whose quizzes and exams were so difficult other instructors struggled with them. We complained as a class (to the Dean) that the classroom education wasn't on par with the test and it was changed. You're paying for your education, you have every right to insist it be adequate to prepare you for the exams required by the course.

I don't have a Master's degree in physiology, and I have passed every HESI test I have been given, including my program's exit HESI. As others have posted, it sounds like the problem is with your program, not with Elsevier Evolve.

Ditto. I think the level of pressure students are experiencing because their programs are requiring it to graduate is the fundamental problem, in conjunction to the school's program not preparing students enough. I literally did not crack open a single book or study guide and passed the HESI 3 exit last week with a 1015. I can say with 10000% certainty that it was probably because I was not under any pressure before and during the test, and did not experience the level of anxiety that I would have had it been necessary to graduate.

I have taken the Hesi the second time today and failed the math and NOW i have to wait 12 months to retake it!!! I'm so angry and bummed. like why? it's basic math? and has nothing to do with nursing or saving a life. now i have to tell my family i can't start school.

It sounds like maybe you need a math class. Math is extremely important in nursing, and yes, in saving a life. You better be able to calculate the right dosage of a med you are giving in a code. Do you have a thorough understanding of what a nurse does?

You can kill someone if you mess up on a math calculation. How will you calculate dosages if you can't pass the HESI math section?
