Anyone attending Herzing University this fall?

Thanks for replying , At the Atlanta Campus, you take the Teas test if you get a passing rate they give you the application to fill out . I dont have to submit any transcripts since i graduated from there . Only my H.S transcript is needed which I have . So I am going to be proactive and bring it with me . She said health forms have to be filled out too . Did you that the same day ? Are you using FA ? I will have to pay out of pocket but get reimbursement from my job and probably will use private loans to fund the rest .

No problem! The health packet I finished a month later because it took a while to get my shot records and such, but it wasn't due until July 1 for us, so it was still done in time. I have partial FA and am paying out of pocket. Good luck on your test and keep us posted!

Thanks for starting this thread! I plan to begin core classes in September as well at the Orlando campus. Is anyone planning to work during the program?

I will be working during the program. I don't have a choice ;) . I'm excited to see that more of us are starting September. Are you taking any courses next week?

Yea if I'm not mistaken it is online, per a classmate who just took it. I know a professor who was teaching FT, Radecki is leaving, this is her last semester :(. And I heard she is amazing and taught Nursing 1-3. I'm curious to see which professor it will be.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that you were right! I spoke with the Registrar today and she said that it is an online class, but whatever time it shows on your schedule is the time you must be logged in and we should be receiving an email with everything we need to know.

Yes, I ment to give an update. I met with a friend who just took Focus Tutorial and said the same thing. I recently got an email for Kaplan which also goes hand in hand with Focus Tutorial. My friend is doing the LPN to RN transition and sent me a pic of her books and can I say WOWZA í ½í¸³í ½í¸³!! Lol can't wait to meet everyone!

I can't wait to meet everyone as well. I can only imagine how many books we'll have. I received the Kaplan email as well. It has some really good study and note taking tips on there. Have you looked at it yet?

Same :) I have no choice but to work. Yes, I will be taking the computers course, and the two Herzing specific courses. They advised that I can take the last required course, Cultural Diversity, during the core program. I'm nervous, yet excited. I am scheduled to attend the new student orientation on Thursday.

Ill be working as well FT hope its doable if not I will have to decrease my hours or change positions. How about you?

When you log in, there's a section that says Nursing School Success. If you click on "How to Study," it'll show you several different video links you can watch. I'm so glad they provided those tips for us.

I actually won't be taking Cultural Diversity until Fall of next year. When you go to the Orientation, they'll let you print out your schedule and mine shows all the way until 12/20/17; Of course some items are subject to change like the teacher and such. I can't wait for the RN specific orientation. I took the computers course and Professional Development last semester. I'm taking the Focused Tutorial class next week. What day does your class fall on?

Awesome, thanks for the info! I have been trying to sign into my email but something must be going on with their server, its not allowing me to login to get to the Kaplan email. I'm going to read it tonight for sure!
