I attended an informational meeting at Herzing University Orlando, FL Campus yesterday and it appears that the school is expensive, but the turnaround time to become an RN is very quick. Are there any current or recent Graduates of Herzing University who can share some insight about the school (pros and cons).

I would be moving from Tampa to Orlando to attend this school. Please share any information about the TEAS, tuition, financial aid/ disbursements, local apartments, classes/teachers, advisors/support, and best of all job availability/security.

I know the school has recently received their NLNAC accreditation and are registered with the Florida Board of Nursing. But any information regarding accreditation and hospitals views of the program are also welcome.

i am even considering going to herzing university (orlando campus) for their bsn program and starting in may 2012. i might need a roommate/apartment... i live in atlanta, ga too... i have a question: do you know where i can locate their nursing program application?

hey! really?! that's awesome! we could possibly room together?! well the first step is to take the teas, after you do that, contact one of the admissions representative and they will walk you through the process, from what i heard there is a lot of paperwork, i haven't submitted my application yet because i am taking my teas this saturday!, but my advisor told me that after i get me results back i need to contact her and she will tell me what to do next! so your best bet is to contact one of the representatives,have you already taken the teas yet?!

I have already taking the TEAS and passed it and they have sent me their application for the BSN Program and I am going to go ahead and fill out the application and if the accept me into the program and I will go ahead and start planning on moving to Florida.

I was accepted into Herzing University but the admission counselor told me that their BSN program is full and they evaluated my transcript and it turns out that i am owing them 7 classes and to me that's alot. My plan was to get into their BSN this year but it looks like its not going to happen. I also applied to some other Nursing school instead of depending on one school or putting all your eggs in one basket and I was accepted at 3 Nursing school to begin this year and I am so excited about that. So i am not going attending Herzing after all.

Just to clarify about transferring credits from Herzing University. You may transfer credits to another institution if they are:

1) Pre-requisite classes (such as A&P, English, College Algebra, etc.)

2) All nursing core classes with an ASN diploma

3) All nursing classes with a BSN diploma

*** If you decide to stop studying at Herzing during your nursing core classes (before graduation)... you will not be able to transfer those credits. It is not becasue of Herzing, but because other institutions require you to take all core classes from their programs. ***
